Tomoe Engineering Co., Ltd. starts marketing EasyTube (carbon nanotube furnace shown in the photo) made by NanoDevices (California, USA). This furnace produces nanotubes by use of the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process and is suitable for their mass production. EasyTube software stored in your personal computer allows any body to get Nano Furnace started right away and operate it easily.
Carbon nanotube is a typical nano-technology product and attracts attention of the business world as the vital material for the next-generation transistor and ultra-thin TV screen.
Two R & D laboratories in Japan have already planned to place the orders with Tomoe Engineering and the first EasyTubes will be installed in March.
Unit price is J.yen 6 million. Tomoe aims to sell approx. 10 units in the first year.
