ASM Tubular Centrifuge (Ultra High G)

ASM Tubular Centrifuge (Ultra High G) is capable of efficiently separating mixed liquids with fine particles or with a small difference in specific gravity by means of centrifugal force that is 20,000 times as high as gravity.

ASM Tubular Centrifuge (Ultra High G) consists of parts such as a rotary cylinder that rotates at high speed, a bearing retaining frame, a separate liquid collection cover, and a drag controlling the runout of the rotary cylinder. The separate liquid is continuously discharged by centrifugal force 20,000 times as high as gravity, and solid matter is discharged through a batch system.
In the food industry, this centrifugal separator is used for various applications, such as the separation and purification of extracts and refinement of animal and vegetable oils.
In the pharmaceutical industry, it is widely used for functions such as the collection of fungus bodies; protein recovery; sampling, condensation, and cleaning of cells; and removal of cell debris.

  1. Open type (AP type)

    Since the separate liquid cover and the outlet are integral, the discharge system is easy to disassemble and clean.
    You can also operate the centrifugal separator while checking the degree of cleanliness of the separate liquid.
    This centrifugal separator has been used for various applications, such as the separation and purification of extracts and refinement of animal and vegetable oils.

  2. Pressure-resistant hermetic type (PT type)

    The mechanical seal used for the bearing can thoroughly separate the inside of the frame and the outside air. The basic design pressure resistance performance is 0.2 MPa (2 kg/CO2), and the centrifugal separator can safely separate combustibles, poisonous substances, deadly poisons, and other hazardous substances.

  3. Refiner type (RF type)

    The wide heavy liquid outlet permits easy, continuous discharge of even soft and elastic substances.
    This centrifugal separator is used for degumming or deacidification in refinement processes for animal and vegetable oils and can discharge coagulated gum substances and foots only with gravity.

  4. Plasma type (PL type)

    The temperature of the treated liquid can be easily maintained by installing a cooling coil inside the frame.
    The liquid contact area undergoes sanitary treatment and can be smoothly disassembled and cleaned.

  5. Sterile type (NP type)

    This centrifugal separator uses a mechanical seal for the bearing to ensure resistance to steam pressure at 121°C. It is also SIP-compatible.
    Since the centrifugal separator can be kept hermetic during operation, aseptic operation is also possible.
    Centrifugal separators with rotary cylinders that roll sideways are also available for installation in clean rooms and safety cabinets.
